Home to several sports teams, both adult and youth teams.

The local Gala has been running for more than 40 years and is held n the second Saturday of July each year. There is a parade, stalls , competitions and entertainment as well as a popular evening event showwcasing local bands.

There is a full size tennis court avaialble 

An extensive play area for chidren of all ages - including the new trim trail and zip wire. This area also has equipment with disabled access.

The skate park is popluar with local skate boarders and bikers
